| Position Summary |
The General Manager of the Lake Forest II Master Homeowners Association reports to the President, is accountable to the seven member Board of Directors, and functions as the Chief Operating Officer of the Association. The Board of Directors establishes the policies and goals of the Association and the General Manager puts into action and enforces all rules, regulations and operating procedures necessary to implement the Board’s policies.
The General Manager oversees all day-to-day operations and staff in a professional manner consistent with the standards set forth in Board policies, the Lake Forest II Master HOA governing documents, as well as the Operating, Reserve and Capital Budgets and other operational plans. He/she will have direct oversight of four department managers and approximately 50 year round employees. The ideal candidate will understand and strive for exceptional service and standards for the benefit of the Association and its members.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Board to develop and implement their goals and priority issues. Provide community leadership and guidance to ensure that the needs of the homeowners are being addressed. Provide leadership for each meeting of the Board of Directors in terms of agenda support and written/oral reports. Ensure appropriate training of all association staff. Comply with all government laws and regulations applicable to common interest developments. Oversee compliance with and assist in the enforcement of all Association governing documents. Maintain full, accurate and complete membership, financial and administrative records for the Association. Represent the Association with various external entities, including government agencies and courts and with surrounding communities. Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Board of Directors.
Compensation and Benefits
The General Manager’s compensation and benefits package will be determined by the Board of Directors and will be specified in the Employment Agreement between the parties.
